Stopped in Ballater for break on a roadtrip, not sure what would be open on Easter Sunday. The lentil soup was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely little cafe in the heart of Ballater. Lots of tables and very quick service. Great food and a good selection on the menu. Connected to a lovely gift shop, this is a worth while visit. They welcome dogs and have dog food menu. Parking on the car parks is free which are a couple of minutes walk and there is some on street parking.

Absolutely love this place. Super friendly and very efficient staff. The best pancakes what I ever had. I had savoury and sweet and both Absolutely perfect. The veggie haggis was top. Very happy about the choices of non dairy milk. Dog friendly which is amazing because our little dog goes everywhere with us. Definitely recommended. More places like this please

Delicious food. The daily soup was great value and very tasty. I had the Biscoff slice which was rich and great portion as was the soup. My daughter had the Victoria sponge which was moist and with plenty of cream and jam. The coffees were good too. Attached is a lovely gift shop. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure. Highly recommend.

My wife and I went here Friday morning for breakfast. This is the first time for my wife, but I've been here several times over the last few years. The Scottish breakfast was remarkable and a good size, with quality ingredients. My wife especially loved the bacon. The atmosphere has always been relaxed and the cafe has a comfortable feel to it. As for the staff, they all were extremely friendly, but particularly the lady that served us. She made us feel so welcomed and was so polite and when we finally left, she wished us ladies a good day. I believe this is the nicest cafe in Ballater and there are quite a few!! But the Bridge House Cafe, will be our regular go to for breakfast and/or coffee.
